Nancy F. Walker Scholarship

2018 WINNERS


Matinée Musicale honors Nancy F. Walker for her legacy of support and encouragement of young musicians through the Nancy F. Walker Memorial Scholarships.

Nancy was a musician, music teacher, and strong advocate for music and the arts, serving on the boards of Cincinnati’s largest performing arts organizations. In 1989, she received a Post-Corbett Award for her volunteerism. She was Artistic Director of Matinée Musicale for over 40 years. The first Scholarship competition was held in 2018 after her death in October of 2017.

*Eligibility


Students who reside or attend school in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn County in Indiana are eligible to receive scholarships.
