HOW TO APPLY FOR GRANTS

As part of our mission to serve and enrich the greater Cincinnati community, we are pleased to offer limited financial assistance from the Matinée Musicale Endowment Fund to a small number of 501(c)(3) nonprofits in support of their outreach programs that promote music and music education.

Grants given by Matinée Musicale Cincinnati are made possible due to a generous bequest from the Louise Dieterle Nippert Estate. Applications for grants in 2024 should be submitted by May 15, 2024 using the Ohio Common Grant short form.pdf or Ohio Common Grant short form.doc. Grants are awarded no later than July 31, 2024.

Eligibility and How To Apply

Applicants must provide a copy of the determination letter issued to the organization by the IRS showing its tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Applicants must be located within one of the following Greater Cincinnati counties: Hamilton, Butler, Warren or Clermont in Ohio; Dearborn in Indiana; Kenton, Campbell or Boone in Kentucky.

Only one application per fiscal year of the Fund (8/1—7/31) should be submitted from any organization.

All applications must utilize the Ohio Common Grant short form.pdf or Ohio Common Grant short form.doc and be accompanied by the required attachments.

Five (5) copies of the complete proposal (Common Grant Short Form + Required Attachments)

The grant application should include a statement or information regarding how a grant from the Fund would be used to promote or support music and music education in the community.

If you have received a grant from us in the past, we require that you report back to us by May 1st via letter or email the results obtained from your use of that grant. No special form is required for this report.
