Members and guests of Matinée Musicale Cincinnati met at Christ Church United Church of Christ in Fort Thomas, KY, for a fabulous recital by KayCee Galano, violin, and Ming-Li Liu, piano. KayCee was a First Place Winner in our 2021 Nancy F. Walker Memorial Scholarships, College Instrumental Division. In 2024, KayCee was selected to compete in the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium Violin Competition, a very high honor. Both she and Ming-Li are working on their doctorates at University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music.
After the recital, we adjourned to the dining area to enjoy box lunches of either chicken salad sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches or caprese salad on a bagette.
Many thanks to MMC Board Members Rosalee Campbell and Toni Sheffer for their work organizing this delightful program!
